2020 Week 5 DFS Plays on Draftkings

Lou Sherman @loudogsports

Last Week’s team (151.30 total, ~140 cash line):

Ryan Fitzpatrick (26.30)

Ezekiel Elliot (21.50)

Travis Homer (7.80)

Hunter Renfrow (10.70)

Mike Evans (28.20)

Devante Parker (24.00)

Hunter Henry (5.90)

Alvin Kamara (20.90)

Buccaneers (6.00)

Teddy Bridgewater ($5900) has looked like a solid QB so far in his comeback season. Now he gets to face the Atlanta Falcons who have given up the most fantasy points to QB in 2020.

Others to Consider:

Daniel Jones ($5400) is cheap, but for good reason. Jones has not thrown a TD in 3 weeks, but he is in a get-right spot against the Cowboys defense that has allowed 13 TD to 1 INT this season. Deshaun Watson ($6600) has a new coach calling the plays this week, so he might get more freedom to pass against a Jacksonville defense that has allowed 2 300 yard passing games already.

Mike Davis ($6400) is still under $7k while showing he has the CMC role the past two weeks, also Reggie Bonnafon is not expected to play this game.

Ezekiel Elliot ($7800) has yet to reach the 100 yard bonus, or have multiple rushing TD in a week. However, Zeke is still averaging 22 points per game and is egregiously priced below $8k this week.against a weak Giants defense.

Off the Board:

James Robinson ($6700) may see low ownership due to his price, but has been active in the passing game recently. The Texans run defense are 29th DVOA and have allowed the most yards per carry in the league.

Others to Consider:

Clyde Edwards-Helaire ($6800) is a home, 13.5 point favorite RB with basically all the RB work on his team. The thing that limits his upside is that the Chiefs tend to continue to pass even with big leads, so it’s not as sexy as Zeke’s situation. Kareem Hunt ($6400) has become the lead back in Cleveland. The matchup isn’t great against a Colts defense that has not allowed multiple TD in each of the last 3 games. Antonio Gibson ($5000) is my favorite cheap option this week, and with Kyle Allen under center, I could see Washington lean more on Gibson.

Darius Slayton ($4800) has had at least 6 targets in each game, has multiple TD upside, and faces a porous Cowboys pass D.

Amari Cooper ($7400) has had pretty insane home road splits in his time with the Cowboys. At home, Cooper has averaged 7/110/0.8 per game, compared to 4.6/47/0.2 in away games. Something about that Dallas turf just hits him different.

Off the Board:

Jamison Crowder ($5800) now has Joe Flacco throwing him the ball, and he’s on the Jets. However, Crowder has seen double digit targets in each game he has played and really is the only option they’ve got.

Others to Consider:

Robby Anderson ($5900) is the guy I am pairing with Bridgewater, with a floor of 5 receptions and two games over 100 yards in 4 games. Anderson is no longer a boom or bust. Olamide Zaccheaus ($3000) will be a lock and load play if we hear Julio Jones is forced to miss this game. Zaccheaus has seen 15 targets the last 2 weeks while Julio has been hurting.

Evan Engram ($4600) is in line for 5+ targets in an up-paced game in Dallas that should have plenty of fantasy points available.

Others to Consider:

Eric Ebron ($4000) is an athlete and a big target by the endzone. Ben Roethlisberger ($6600) should be able carve up this Philly defense. All the high priced TE are in play, as you should have enough salary to pay up this week. Mark Andrews ($6200) is my favorite pay up option, as the Ravens like to use him more in man coverage, while the Bengals run man defense the 3rd most of any team.
