2020 Week 6 DFS Plays on Draftkings

Lou Sherman @loudogsports

Last Week’s team (156.00 total, ~145 cash line):

Kyler Murray (30.30)

Ezekiel Elliot (23.50)

Clyde Edwards-Hellaire (11.00)

Darius Slayton (23.90)

Will Fuller (15.80)

Olamide Zaccheaus (2.30)

Eric Ebron (8.30)

Mike Davis (29.90)

Colts (11.00)

Ryan Tannehill ($5900) has been a consistent fantasy option since becoming the Titans starter, and his rushing floor makes him an excellent option this week. Tennessee have been running 68 offensive snaps per game, and Houston’s up pace means we could see Tannehill throwing another 40 times this week in a plus matchup.

Others to Consider:

Kirk Cousins ($6100) gets to face the porous Falcons defense that has allowed the most fantasy points to the QB position, with over 300 passing yards in each game and 4 TD on 3 separate occasions in 5 games. Ryan Fitzpatrick ($5900) has at least 25 fantasy points in each of the past 4 weeks and now gets to face a Jets team that has basically given up on the season already.

Phillip Lindsay ($4300) will get the start if Melvin Gordon ends us missing this game. The Patriots are dealing with COVID issues again, so the game may not even happen, but if Lindsay gets the start he is a must play.

Alexander Mattison ($7200) is the talk of the town this week, as he was the big waiver wire due to Dalvin Cook’s injury.

Off the Board:

Jonathan Taylor ($6400) should not be forgotten this week. The Bengals have generally been a run funnel the past few seasons, and Jordan Wilkins will not be around to take touches away from Taylor. Remember when Cincinnati gave up 200 yards and 3TD on the ground to the Browns?

Others to Consider:

Derrick Henry ($7300) might get suppressed ownership due to Mattison. Henry faces a Texans defense that has allowed 3 RB to reach 100 yards and 6 TD on the season. Mike Davis ($7000) is averaging 24 opportunities (attempts + targets) since taking over for the Panthers and is safe to get you 5+ receptions each week. Myles Gaskin ($5400) may be a cheap way to get different in Dolphins stacks in hopes he gets a long run or two.

Adam Thielen ($7300) is in a concentrated aerial attack and should see at least 10 targets in this excellent matchup. The Falcons have allowed 7 different WR to eclipse 90 yards so far on the year, and I expect Thielen (and probably Justin Jefferson ($6000)) to get there this week.

AJ Brown ($5600) showed on Tuesday night that he is back to healthy, and is simply too cheap at $5600. Brown’s ceiling is high and pairs well in Tannehill stacks against a Houston defense that recently allowed Thielen and Jefferson to reach 100+ yards in the same game.

Off the Board:

Tee Higgins ($4700) has at least 6 targets in each of the past 4 games, and AJ Green has looked like dust. Joe Burrow has thrown at least 30 passes each game, and I would expect the same as the Bengals are 7 point underdogs.

Others to Consider:

Will Fuller ($6800) has been Watson’s favorite target this season and is my favorite bring back option to Titans stacks. Chase Claypool ($5200) is coming off a 4TD which could inflate his ownership, but with Diontae Johnson out of this game Claypool should continue to see enough action to be viable at this price. Laviska Shenault ($5200) is a good pivot off of Claypool in a game against the Lions that could get out of hand quickly. I would like Shenault even more if Chark ends up missing this game.

Trey Burton ($3100) is not the safest play at TE, but he is cheap and has seen 11 targets in two games. Mo Alie Cox will not play this game, opening up even more snaps and targets for Burton.

Others to Consider:

Mark Andrews ($6500) is the only top tier TE on this slate, so I think it is worth paying up for his 2TD upside against a PHI defense that recently got manhandled by George Kittle. Eric Ebron ($4100) is another cheap TE I am looking at this week, having 5 receptions in consecutive games and is now facing the Browns who have given up 4 TD on the season. Ebron is set up for another solid base of targets with Diontae out.
